Students participating in one (1) sport shall be charged a fee of fifty dollars (50.00). Students participating in two (2) sports shall be charged a fee of fifty dollars (50.00) for the first sport, a fee of twenty-five (25.00) for the second sport and a fee of fifteen dollars (15.00) for each additional sport.
 
Regardless of how many sports a student may play, in no event shall they be charged more than one hundred dollars (100.00) under this policy during a school year.
 
 
TEXTBOOK POLICY
 
Beginning with the 2005-06 school year, students shall be responsible for returning all textbooks they receive from the Ecorse public Schools in good condition at the end of the school year. Good condition shall be defined as ''no torn pages, no writing, coloring, highlighting in the book, no dog ears and the book must have a simple book cover''.
 
Any student who fails to return all of thier textbooks in good condition at the end of the school year shall be required to compensate Ecorse Public Schools for the full value of the textbook(s). In the event that a student fails to comply and/or compensate Ecorse Public Schools, an administrative hold shall be placed on thier account and/or records.

2.0 GRADE POINT AVERAGE (GPA) REQUIREMENT FOR SPORTS ELIGIBITY POLICY
 
No student will be allowed to participate in any sport unless they have a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) to play any sport beginnining with the 2006-07 school year, with there being no exceptions.
